The New Mexico American Marketing Association unveils new brand today.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM., Jan. 15, 2009 – The New Mexico Chapter of the American Marketing Association formally unveiled its new brand identity today that represents a significant milestone in the company’s history and further signifies the company’s evolution to a booming center for community, resources and education.

In 2008, the Board felt that NMAMA needed a new look. Tangerine Café was selected from a group of five potential candidates to develop the new logo and collateral. A re-branding committee, which was comprised of board and committee members as well as members at large, was assembled to select the creative firm and approve the final designs.

The look was unveiled at the January 'Lunch and Learn'. The new branding system simplifies and unifies the look and feel across NMAMA collateral and platforms in an effort to better communicate important characteristics and value to consumers. The system includes a re-designed logo for NMAMA, templates to print in house, collateral to be printed as needed, and an icon which encapsulates images of its members and community.

"The New Mexico Chapter of the American Marketing Association is a valuable brand to both the Association and its members, and we at Tangerine Cafe intend to grow the value of this brand as we help evolve the company,” said Lynn Platow, Creative Director, Partner on the TC Creative Team. “This evolution will allow NMAMA to be better recognized for the contributions it makes, establish a strong emotional connection with its members, and strengthen overall position in the marketplace.”

The new brand identity involves changes to the logo, and establishes a tagline. NMAMA's logo combines the essence of the three key elements of the company (Community, Resources and Education), building on NMAMA's equity, yet also signaling the new direction the company is headed today. The brand also includes a new tagline: “Learn Build Grow™.” This tagline is NMAMA's unique brand promise and is designed to communicate what drives the Chapter as a company, and what the Chapter makes possible.

Welcome 2009

Happy holidays!
It's that time of year when even Albuquerque starts getting too cold for flip flops, New York is a bit too cold for iced lattes, and Regensburg is, well... just too cold. The TC team is gearing up for the new year, and we're rolling out some snazzy new improvements for you as we celebrate 2009.

What's New with the Café?
As many of you already know, Tangerine Café has 2 new members—
Claire Roudabush and Andrew Tomayko. We've introduced our Monthly Consulting Packages, allowing us to be more flexible with projects and deadlines, and we've upgraded our lightbox database system thanks to Sir Jeremy Mikola.

Spread the Joy
Our Winter 2008 book is complete and will be shipping shortly. Hooray!
Our Clients are very special to us, and we use this time of year as an opportunity to both thank and showcase them. We'd love to introduce our newest Albuquerque Clients to our New York Clients and everyone outside and in-between, and our Winter books are a great way to share.

Thank You. It's been a great year, and we're only looking forward to the next one.

Have a great new year full of good times with family and friends!

Best wishes,
Tangerine Cafe Design Group

Wow. What a response!

We want to take a moment to thank our clients for the overwhelmingly positive response to our Monthly Retainer Packages. It has opened up so much more flexibility with projects and it has been a pleasure becoming more involved with your day-to-day.

We look forward to working with you in the new year!

Truly,
Lynn
