A few weeks ago, our team decided that it would be a good idea to get out of the office and take a walk across the block to the newly opened & remodeled "Proof" - in the old "Raw" space.
While there, we found both an open bar and Missy Penor, of Miscellaneous Publications. This can be a fantastically fun combination. We started talking about the diversity of our team is, and how we are "Not a café". We do serve coffee upon request, but no food menu. Before the end of the evening, we found ourselves promising Missy this post.
"Tangerine Cafe Design Group — NO SAMMICHES HERE!"
( Sammiches, yes sammiches.)
so let's define sammiches:
1. A sandwich, with connotations of extra goodness. For example, if you pour gravy on a roast beef sandwich, you now have a roast beef sammich. | ||
2. slang for sandwich, used in the case of an extremely good sandwich. 3. the best sandwich available or that you have ever had | ||
So, we are not a café, we are a design group.
Although we do have a great menu of designers, phtographers & illustratiors - it would be really great to have Sammiches on hand.
